Why choose Dry Bones for your project?
Remember, unfortunately not all contractors are the same!!
The following are some suggestions that we feel should be the standard for every contractor.
1. NEVER assume that every contractor is on the “up and up” with insurances.
ALWAYS ask for certificates and documentation to back it up and make sure that they are current. We hold the "state required" current insurance and provide a copy to the owner with every job.
SPECIFICALLY YOU WILL WANT TO SEE AT LEAST THREE THINGS:
1. Contractor's License
2. Liability Insurance
3. Auto Insurance
4. Workman's compensation if required
2. ONLY deal with a licensed contractor.
We hold a Class A license with BLD classification (license No. 2705109578A) in the state of Virginia.
What that means is that we have reached the highest level of contractor status possible in the state of Virginia. To obtain a class A license a contractor must prove financial stability, construction and building expertise, be of good character, and pass several exams.
.
Even if a contractor provides you with a valid license, CHECK THEM OUT!!
Visit the Virginia Dept. of Professional and Occupational Regulation at www.state.va.us/dpor/ and check for yourself the license status and any complaints on that company.
3. Are they willing to be a member of the Better Business Bureau?
The Better Business Bureau has a very stringent membership policy and will not admit every company.
Please check out our company at www.richmond.bbb.org.
4. Will the contractor provide a list of CURRENT references ?
Anyone can provide an old list , are they willing to provide you with a current list.
We happily provide you with a list of references and encourage you to ask them questions about their experience with us.
But what really sets us above the rest
CUSTOMER SERVICE !!
We are always available to talk with you anytime. Dry Bones Restorations Inc. is a family owned business. We do not take on more than two large jobs at one time therefore allowing one of the owners to fully supervise and on-site manage your job.
We don’t sub everything out. In other words we are very involved with your project. You will be introduced to everyone working on your project. You will always know who is in charge and we invite you to ask questions. We only use a handful of trade partners (sub-contractors) that we have a long standing relationship with for electrical work, roofing, and plumbing. We do everything else.
When working in your business or home, we are respectful of your property and treat it as if it where our very own.
Experience: We have a wide variety of individual experience that combines to ensure each phase of your project is done right. From contract to handing you the keys, from carpentry to codes, we know how to get the job done right and on time.
BUT MOST IMPOTANTLY...
We guarantee our work for one year, it is actually in OUR contract with you!!
How many contractors are willing to make that claim?
